Pause Your Workday

Hi Everyone,


As a Mom of three with a full time job, I often find myself getting overwhelmed with the amount of things I have on my to-do list. I've found one of the best ways I can connect my mind and my body and return to the present moment is to find a moment to pause my workday. Why the workday? This is the time I know my kids are being cared for either at school or daycare and I can focus on myself. When I say pause, I'm talking a minimum of 5 minutes. I find that the days where I take 5 minutes to just be, I gain energy and I am able to focus on my work.


I've created a meditation that you can listen to while you sit at your desk or even if you are on a short walk. Pop your headphones in and give yourself permission to listen to the words in the meditation. I offer guidance on slowing down your mind and connecting to the energy in your body. When I follow this meditation I find that I can proceed in my workday with compassion and an elevated sense of purpose.
